Three Alarm Fire at Jersey Avenue

On October 10, 1996, at 2012 hrs., companies responded to a fire reported at Jersey Avenue and Gilchrist Street, which was a vacant one story warehouse. Engine Company 2 arrived on the scene at 2013 hrs. The fire progressed to three alarms. The building was totally destroyed. All companies returned to duty at 0916 hrs.
