Two Alarm Fire at 480 Ocean Avenue

On September 16, 1996, at 1230 hrs., companies responded to a fire reported at 480 Ocean Avenue, which was an occupied two story woodframe house above a store. Engine Company 22 arrived on the scene at 1230 hrs. a second alarm was transmitted at 1235 hrs. The fire was under control at 1251 hrs. Later the Fire Investigation Unit arrested a suspect for aggravated arson and terroristic threats.
