Two Alarm Building Collapse

On January 9, 1996, at 1552 hrs., companies responded to a report of a building collapse at 220 Sip Avenue (Twin Cities Supermarket). The FDJC was at this earlier in the day for a partical collapse and had the building closed. Engine Company 15 arrived on the scene at 1556 hrs. The building suffered a total collapse of its south portion which fell onto the sidewalk and street. A second alarm was transmitted at 1648 hrs. for additional manpower to search the debris for victims. None were found.
