Three Alarm Fire at 228 Dwight Street

On February 13, 1996, at 0017 hrs., companies responded to a fire reported at 228 Dwight Street, which was an occupied 4 story brick multi-family building. Engine Company 22 arrived on the scene at 0020 hrs. The fire progressed to 3 alarms. Two infants were found deceased on the first floor. The fire was under control at 0143 hrs. A total of 41 people had to be relocated by the Red Cross.
