| On December 30, 1996, at 1721 hrs., companies responded to alarms sounding at 26 - 30 Milton Avenue, which were 3-3 story wood frame apartment buildings. Engine Company 11 arrived on the scene at 1724 hrs. The fire progressed to 4 alarms. There was one fatality at the fire. All 3 buildings were torn down due to the heavy damage. |
