On June 2, 1997, at 1912 hrs., companies responded to a fire reported at 307 Claremont Avenue, which was a 2 1/2 story house. Engine Company 19 arrived on the scene at 1914 hrs. The fire progressed to a 2 alarm fire and was under control 1933 hrs. The cause of the fire was determined to be children playing with matches.
