2 Alarm Fire at 329-331 Central Avenue

 

On February 22, 1997, at 1634 hrs., companies responded to a fire reported at 329-331 Central Avenue, which was an occupied three story brick building above a store. Engine Company 7 arrived on the scene at 1636 hrs. The fire progressed to a 2nd alarm. It was under control at 1715 hrs. The store and it’s contents suffered heavy damage. The cause of the fire was combustibles located too close to unprotected lights.
