On Monday, April 23, Mayor Schundler, AnneMarie Uebbing, Director of Housing, Economic Development & Commerce, and members of the city council, will visit several sites to celebrate Affordable Housing Day in Jersey City. Three separate projects, totaling 77 units of affordable housing for both family rental and ownership, are slated to have grand opening celebrations on the same day.
In addition to the affordable housing events, the St. Martin de Porres Hospice, the first hospice for persons with AIDS in Hudson County, has scheduled a ground breaking ceremony.
