Lynn Schundler, the First Lady of Jersey City is being honored by the Urban League of Hudson County at their 22nd annual Equal Opportunity Day Dinner Dance at Casino in the Park.
At this dinner, Lynn Schundler, who serves as president of The Lynn Schundler Foundation for Charities, will be presented with the Community Development Award for her foundation's outstanding efforts to reach out to the impoverished and less fortunate in Jersey City.
" When I founded the Lynn Schundler Foundation for Charities, I never imagined that it would grow into an organization that could touch so many lives. Through the tireless work of our dedicated board-members, the Foundation has been able to provide outreach services to the underprivileged in Jersey City. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Urban League of Hudson County for recognizing and honoring the work we do," said Lynn Schundler.
The Lynn Schundler Foundation for Charities hosts fund-raisers and accepts donations from companies in the area to benefit various charitable organizations in Jersey City.
